Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

In this training module you will focus on building your Pilot-In-Command (PIC) and cross country flight experience required for the instrument rating and commercial pilot license. You will also sharpen your flight skills further by learning and practicing new flight maneuvers like the Lazy Eight. This module concludes with a navigation progress test.

Privileges

  • With this license you are allowed to fly an airplane in commercial operations. You may fly a single-pilot certified plane in single pilot operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Min. Age: 18

  • Class 1 Aviation Medical

  • Complete the CPL ground school

  • Pass the DCAL CPL knowledge test

  • Experience: Have 200h TT, 100h PIC, 20h cross-country time, 10h instrument time

  • Pass the DCAL CPL skill test
